Walk to the Black Lake

Start from Montchavin to go towards Les Coches. Several hiking trails bring you to : the "smart fox" behind the apartment or the "nature trail" to the right of the cable cars. Another possibility: take the cable cars to Les Coches.
Once there, go around the Plan Bois chairlift from the top and follow the "Lac Noir" signs. Go to the Orgère car park and start the hike (count around 1 hour from Les Coches). You will discover the lake in the middle of a bog. Nice views of Mont Blanc throughout the ascent.

WINTER ACTIVITIES
Ski
425 km of very varied tracks, go from forests to glaciers crossing sinkholes.
70% of the slopes are above 2000 m.
The whole area can be crossed by blue slopes, ideal for beginners.
More than half are red or black slopes for advanced skiers.
Snowshoes
Kilometers of walks are accessible for free from the village or go up to Dos rond, follow the esf slope for beginners, reach the restaurant "Dos rond" and go down to Montchavin
Cross-country skiing
16 km of trail through the forest with a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc and 186 km over the entire Paradiski area!
Access to the slopes around the village is free, plan a 7-day La Plagne pass at 40 € or at the lift (6.50 € or 8 €)
Sled
Go down the 2 toboggan runs in the village or for the more adventurous, test the Olympic downhill from Bobsleigh to La Plagne 1800
